By using this site, you agree to these terms of use. www.streetbikes.co.uk reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these terms of use, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates on subsequent visits.
We offer a 30 day money back guarantee, details of which are laid out below. All orders are accepted when your credit/charge/debit card is processed. (The card will not be charged until the goods have been shipped.) Any email or other acknowledgment of your order is merely to report that your request has been received and will be looked at, and does not in any way denote acceptance of your order regardless of any wording on the email. www.streetbikes.co.uk reserves the right, at any time prior to acceptance, to refuse any order or any part of an order, or to require further or better information to enable it to evaluate and/or process the order.
Cancellation of Orders
Once a purchased item has been picked and packaged by street-bikes.co.uk it cannot be cancelled If you no longer require an item or items that have entered our warehouse system you will have to return them under the Rules below.
Buyer’s right to cancel the contract
You may cancel your contract with us for the Goods you order at any time up to the end of the seventh Business Day from the date you receive the Goods. You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract nor will you have to pay any penalty.
To cancel your contract you must notify us in writing.
If you have received the Goods before you cancel your contract then you must send the Goods back to our contact address at your own cost and risk. If you cancel the contract but we have already dispatched the Goods to you then you must not unpack or use the Goods when they are received by you and you must contact us immediately and we will organise collection at your own cost and such cost which will be the same as the original delivery price paid by you.
If you cancel the contract but we have already dispatched the Goods to you then we will arrange the Goods to be returned to us at your own cost and such cost which will be the same as the original delivery price paid by you. Should the Goods arrive after you have cancelled the contract then you should not unpack or use the Goods. Under no circumstances should you register the Goods with the DVLA.
If we find that the Goods have not been returned to us in unused, unassembled and in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the Goods, or deduct up to 25% of the original selling price from the refund amount. This does not effect your statutory rights.
Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, and subject to clause any sum debited to us from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order PROVIDED THAT the Goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the Goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the Goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.
Delivery
We will deliver the Item or Items to the address provided by you on the date agreed between us. Delivery to Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland will be based on the method of Delivery. All delivery rates mentioned on this site are estimates only and are given as a rough guide only. Rates can vary from those stated. We will deliver goods at the lowest possible cost. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and in any event within 30 days of order.
Delivery Date stated in contract is no more than an estimate and can vary without notice.
Seller’s Warranty – Parts only
If you find a material defect in the Goods within 12 months (Warranty Period) from and including the date of dispatch then we will at our sole option as soon as is reasonably practicable replace defective parts PROVIDED THAT:
You inform us in writing within 24 hours of the defect being discovered and then proceed as instructed by us, including arranging the prompt return of the claimed faulty part to us for inspection, at your expense;
The defect existed in the Goods at the time of delivery of the Goods or arose from a manufacturing fault, faulty materials or workmanship, and did not result from any modification or alteration of the Goods by the Buyer, or from normal deterioration, or from improper or faulty connection, installation, handling, storage or use of the Goods by you, or any failure by you to comply with the instructions provided by us;
The warranty applies to parts only. Labour charges are not included.
Wear and tear to parts and parts that require maintenance are excluded from the warranty these parts include and are not limited to; Batteries, Bearings & Kick Starts, Fairings, Stands, Cables, Chains, Drive Belts, Clutches, Exhaust, Filters, Inner Tubes, Light Bulbs, Mirrors, Spark Plugs, Wheels, Tyres;
Scooters/motorcycles supplied by us require regular servicing (300km for first service, 1000km for second service and every 3000km subsequently or every 6 months depending on model) and require maintenance by a competent mechanic. Service records and a photo of the mileage may be requested in the event of a claim.
The warranty policy or policies covering a product will only cover defective materials and/or workmanship. Warranty will not cover the following:
- Normal wear and tear
- Neglect, abuse and/or use of the product for a purpose for which it was not intended
- Failures resulting from lack of or improper maintenance/adjustment
- Contamination caused by stale or dirty fuel
- Failures resulting from insufficient lubrication
- Routine maintenance and adjustment
- Failures caused by use of incorrect fuel
- Expenses incurred whilst the product is out of use for warranty repairs
